What is Reemo?
Reemo is a secure remote access solution service developed by Reemo SAS. We provide low-latency remote desktop streaming technology for Windows, Linux, and macOS computers.
How do I get started with Reemo?
- Create your account on the Reemo portal.
- Download and install the Reemo service on the computer you want to connect to.
- Configure the Reemo service during installation using the private key provided after creating your account.
Which operating systems are supported?
Reemo supports Windows 10 (64-bit, Home or Pro), Debian-based Linux distributions (64-bit, X.Org server only), Fedora (64-bit, X.Org server only), and macOS (Mojave minimum). If you would like us to support your Linux distribution, please contact us.
To use pen pressure, Windows must be at least version 18.03. Pen pressure works on all versions of macOS.
Which browsers are supported?
Reemo supports any browser compatible with Media Source Extensions.
How do I connect my computer to my Reemo account?
Reemo uses a "private key" or a "studio key" to link your computers to your account. You will be prompted for it when you first launch Reemo.exe on Windows, and during the initial installation on Linux and macOS. To change it, use Reemo.exe on Windows or edit the reemo.ini file directly.
Do I need to configure my router?
A signaling server finds the best path between you and your computers: most users do not need to configure anything. Reemo uses UDP and peer-to-peer for the best performance.
Behind a corporate firewall, Reemo falls back to a public relay server (TURN) over TCP. Performance may then drop and latency may increase. To get the full Reemo experience, allow UDP packets on your firewall or router.
