I cannot see my login screen

Reemo only captures the X.Org server. Check that your login screen is not using Wayland, and disable Wayland if necessary.

My screen is black

Reemo only captures the X.Org server. Check that your desktop is not using Wayland (for example Fedora, which uses it by default).

My keyboard sends the wrong keys

Enable or disable "Unicode Keyboard" during the session to send characters instead of keystrokes.

I cannot hear my desktop audio

Configure your system so Reemo captures audio. While connected to the target computer via Reemo, open pavucontrol, go to the Recording tab, and set Reemo to "Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog Stereo".

My computer is "Offline"

If the computer is powered on (not in sleep mode) and connected to the Internet, check that the Reemo service is running and that your private key is correct.

Update Reemo on Linux

Run the installation script from the download page again. It handles updates and can run during a Reemo session.
